MORTON’S STEAKHOUSE TO HOLD BENEFIT FOR RED CROSS

Boston, Mass. (Wednesday, June 6, 2007) — Morton's The Steakhouse's national restaurant group is partnering with the American Red Cross and the nation's leading women in wine, to recognize America's "Women of Spirit" at exclusive wine dinners to be held at Morton's restaurants in 38 cities from coast to coast, including Boston. Local residents on the "Women of Spirit" wine dinner tour are encouraged to go online to nominate a woman in their community who has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to volunteerism and service—women who reflect similar values and principles to the mission of the American Red Cross. To nominate a local Woman of Spirit in Boston, please visit before the June 21st deadline. The recipient of this award will be honored at a benefit event, silent auction and celebration at 6:30 pm on Thursday, July 12 at Morton’s on 699 Boylston Street in Boston. Tickets are $150 per person. Proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction benefit the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay. For more information, please contact Dina Trueheart at .

Additionally, Morton’s has secured America’s top female winemakers, sommeliers and proprietors for each of these Women of Spirit dinners. The wine experts will speak about the wine selections featured that evening, give their personal philosophy on wine and discuss their own achievements in the highly competitive wine industry. In Boston, Elaine Honig of the Honig Vineyard and Winery will serve as the evening’s host and will be showcasing many of her fine wines.
