MORTONS STEAKHOUSE TO HOLD BENEFIT FOR RED CROSS
Boston, Mass. (Wednesday, June 6, 2007) Morton's The Steakhouse's national
restaurant group is partnering with the American Red Cross and the nation's
leading women in wine, to recognize America's "Women of Spirit" at exclusive
wine dinners to be held at Morton's restaurants in 38 cities from coast to
coast, including Boston. Local residents on the "Women of Spirit" wine dinner
tour are encouraged to go online to nominate a woman in their community who has
demonstrated an exceptional commitment to volunteerism and servicewomen who
reflect similar values and principles to the mission of the American Red Cross.
To nominate a local Woman of Spirit in Boston, please visit
before the June 21st deadline. The
recipient of this award will be honored at a benefit event, silent auction and
celebration at 6:30 pm on Thursday, July 12 at Mortons on 699 Boylston Street
in Boston. Tickets are $150 per person. Proceeds from ticket sales and the
silent auction benefit the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay. For more

Additionally, Mortons has secured Americas top female winemakers,
sommeliers and proprietors for each of these Women of Spirit dinners. The wine
experts will speak about the wine selections featured that evening, give their
personal philosophy on wine and discuss their own achievements in the highly
competitive wine industry. In Boston, Elaine Honig of the Honig Vineyard and
Winery will serve as the evenings host and will be showcasing many of her fine
wines.
The American Red Cross of Massachusetts
Bay is one of the largest chapters in a national network of just over 800
Red Cross units. With thousands of local volunteers supporting its mission,
people from across 128 cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts are able to
receive training or service from their local Red Cross chapter through Disaster
Relief, Health and Safety Training programs, Food and Nutrition Programs and
