RED CROSS TO HONOR OPERATION HELPING HAND AT ANNUAL GALA
During the 2005 Hurricane Season, Massachusetts launched a comprehensive and compassionate relief effort for hurricane evacuees airlifted to Cape Cod. Led by Governor Mitt Romney, "Operation Helping Hand" provided vital emergency assistance to the more than 200 families. At the Clara Barton Gala on April 28, the Massachusetts Bay Chapter will honor the Governor and the Operation Helping Hand leadership team for their extraordinary humanitarian effort.
