From Boston or the South Shore
Take Rt. 93 North to Rt. 1, Tobin Bridge. Take Rt. 1 to Melrose, Essex St. Exit. You will pass the back of Sears soon after exiting the ramp. Essex St. then becomes Upham St. as you enter Melrose. Follow Upham St. to a set of traffic lights, and continue through the lights to the bottom of the hill. Then take a right onto Lebanon St. Continue through two sets of lights and bear left through the second set of lights. The American Red Cross office is diagonally across from Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. There is free parking behind the Red Cross building.
